Dr. Scott and Leah Silverii, along with their seven children and a French bulldog named Bacon, form a family devoted to faith and service. Scott, a decorated law enforcement veteran of 26 years, experienced a profound calling from God that led him to put down his badge and pick up God’s cross: His new mission is setting men free through Christ.
This divine directive prompted his immediate retirement, leaving behind a career that included twelve years of undercover work, sixteen years in SWAT, and five years as chief of police. Scott acknowledges that the thrill of leading people to Christ surpasses the excitement of all his law enforcement experiences combined.
Leah, a native Texan and TCU graduate, dedicated ten years to teaching before embarking on a successful career as a writer and bestselling author. Her passion for homemaking and nurturing others serves as the driving force behind her ministry calling.
In 2016, Scott, armed with a Master of Public Administration, a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, and post-doctoral seminary studies from The King’s University, answered God’s call to ministry. His grassroots efforts blossomed into the growth of Five Stones Church in Midlothian, Texas, where he currently serves as senior pastor.
Scott continues to disciple men and speak at other churches and conferences guided by his unwavering faith and his life verse: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14).
