Dr. Scott and Leah Silverii share seven kids, and a French bulldog named Bacon. A highly decorated 26-year law enforcement career promptly ended when God called Scott to put down his badge and carry His cross.
God’s word to Scott was, “Son, you’ve spent your career locking men up. Now commit your life to setting them free.” He retired his career on that very day. The Chief admits that leading people to Christ is more exciting than the twelve years he spent undercover, sixteen years in SWAT, and five years as chief of police combined.
Leah enjoyed ten years of teaching before becoming a full-time writer and bestselling author. A native of Texas and graduate of TCU, her passion for the home and nurturing others drives her calling to ministry. An accomplished teacher, Leah’s heart for God’s Word serves as an anchor for the women she mentors along their faith walk.
Scott, who has earned a Master of Public Administration, a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology and post-doctoral seminary studies from The King’s University was called to ministry in 2016. That grassroots ministry grew into planting Five Stones Church in Dallas County, Texas where he serves as senior pastor
Scott continues discipling men in person and remotely as guided by his north star Scripture: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14
