Thibodaux Chief of Police Scott Silverii announced that the Multi-Agency Emergency Response Exercise held today, June 5, in Thibodaux was a great success.
A special thanks goes out to all of the participating agencies, which include the Thibodaux Police Department, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, City of Thibodaux, Golden Meadow Police Department, Port Fourchon Harbor Police, Louisiana State Police, Louisiana Probation and Parole, Nicholls State University, Nicholls State Police Department, Lafourche Parish School Board, Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Houma Police Department, Acadian Ambulance, St. Charles EMS, Lafourche Ambulance District 1, Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department, Lockport Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Lafourche Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness, Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and the Louisiana Emergency Response Network.
With hurricane season quickly approaching, Chief Silverii and the Thibodaux Police Department are always preparing to manage any crisis that comes to our community. Once again, a big thank you to all of our partners who have been so patient and cooperative during our training efforts.
