Mark Of The Beast: Are We Logging Into It?

Mark Isn’t A Mark

The more I witness what is happening with social media, the more I’m convinced that the “mark” is an ideology and not a physical marking.

We’ve become dependant on many forms of social media. Our kids are destroying their youth, their innocence, their innovation and creativity through dependences upon social media for “friendships” and affirmation.

Liberal outlets no longer hide efforts to silence Christian voices. I recently read where twitter & facebook accounts were suspended until certain non-offensive, conservative content was removed, and a pledge to not violate their terms were acknowledged.

Ideology

Users are being forced to conform to a certain anti-faith ideology to participate within that environment, or be restricted from “buying or selling” until they swear an oath to their ideology.

It’s subtly called social norming. You encourage users to accept your “standards” of practice as the price for admission to participate. Violate the terms, and earn progressive discipline until you’re belief structure is restructured, or you are banned from participating in the community.

Most people will conform to the social norms just to belong to the crowd, and get along within the new normal.

Permissive Invasion

Social media is calculated in it’s increased presence in our lives. It used to be a social connection between friends. Now it’s a key mechanism into market places where we can buy and sell merchandise and services.

We are not protected by the Constitution’s 1st amendment because these are private companies that require as a condition of use, we agree to their terms and conditions. That means they record our words through Siri, Alexa, etc and capture every word we type right here and all social media platforms.

In the near future, the factor to determine who gets to access their mediums will be based on their social norming ideology. All of the platform providers support ultra-liberal agendas in everything contrary to God’s word.

Will You Resist

Think about how reliant we’ve become on social media platforms and smartphones. We don’t even remember our family’s phone numbers because we don’t dial them. Rarely do we have actual photographs of loved ones unless they’re stored in our electronics.

Will you accept an anti-Christ ideology just to be allowed to access your kid’s photographs, or to call your spouse one last time? How about to gain access to apps for buying food or paying bills?

We’ve become too pacified as our Christian values are attacked and eroded because someone claims their feelings are hurt, they no longer identify with who they were the day before or they blame God for the misery in their life instead of the sin that caused the separation from Him.

Time To Go

It’s time to stand watch, and become aware of what the wicked one is doing to God’s people. Ideology is much harder to defend against than an enemy of flesh and bone.

As men of God, we must pray for spiritual discernment and the will to resist the devil. If we do, he will flee!!!

“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
