What Golden Calf Are You Worshiping?

Studying Exodus I read over Chapter 32, and the golden calf. I wondered how could they be so quick to turn their backs away from God after everything He’d done for them?

But I understood that we do the same thing when we create our own golden calves. It might be our job, or hobby, or new girlfriend or even our kids.

Let’s not put God in a box, and definitely not in some artificial idol where we define who He is. Allow the Holy Spirit to bless you through leadership towards God’s word, wisdom and blessings.
