I’m not angry with the institutionalized big-box store churches, but I am praying that they come to understand that collecting butts in their auditorium seats isn’t the same as Jesus’ Great Commission:
Instead of building empires, the closure of physical structures forced observants out of their cozy seats and pre-service latte grande coffee lines.
When we fight, we confront our enemy, ourselves and God – When we surrender, God gives us the victory that has already been won.
The true church has been set free from their favorite pews, Holy Spirit-imitating fog machines and high-priced guess speakers. This is not the church as God empowered it.
Walking through a season of uncertainty? We all move through these cycles of obscurity. They are God’s way of preparing us for His gift.
