Therein lies my plight. Although I’ve spent my entire career being in the center, I never felt that I belonged wherever it was I found myself. I’m not an introvert by any stretch of the imagination, but there’s always this nagging tick of inferiority.

Are you pregnant? I thought what a crazy question to ask a man. Are you pregnant with greatness? Oh, not that kinda pregnant. With greatness? I never thought about it. How many of us are actually pregnant with greatness? Unfortunately, we fear change. Therefore, we do anything we can to avoid giving birth to this potential. An odd analogy? Not really. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6 Returning to graduate school even before Max was born, he has only known a dad engaged in reading, writing and the joy of education. In addition to the prayers we share at this old table; reading and writing is a passion “we” now both enjoy. And what did my dad do? He was a teacher.  Train up a child….
