I’m not angry with the institutionalized big-box store churches, but I am praying that they come to understand that collecting butts in their auditorium seats isn’t the same as Jesus’ Great Commission:
Don’t grow weary because you’ve cast your energies toward social media propaganda and ran out of gas for pursuing Jesus Christ.
Instead of building empires, the closure of physical structures forced observants out of their cozy seats and pre-service latte grande coffee lines.
The true church has been set free from their favorite pews, Holy Spirit-imitating fog machines and high-priced guess speakers. This is not the church as God empowered it.
Stumbling through life from circumstance to happenstance is how too many of us men fumble through life. Without purpose or intention, we become victims of everyone’s whim while trying to avoid the thorns and wondering what happened to the palms.
