Flat Footed and Refusing to Fall
I spent the drive time listening to sermons and Christian music. Although my wife suspected it was a plot for ignoring her, I really needed the head time to refocus and recharge.

We also spent a late morning watching an extreme rain storm. While we were hopeful it would run out of rain, it seems that there’s much more rain being made for our Saturday departure.
The hotel’s got a great view, and even better food. Our conversation consisted of discussing our funeral wishes.
I often wonder what Leah does during these long rides. I now have proof that she was being “creative.”
We got to visit for a couple of hours and have a delicious home cooked meal. Let me tell you, we had Blue Bell ice cream and fresh Georgia peaches for dessert.
