Are You a Creature?

Are You a Creature

I’ve known a few people who fit the Creature moniker better than others, but the truth is we are all creatures. We cannot think of anything or anyone not having a beginning.

Creatures are created; Period! It is beyond my understanding to reasonably think there is no God, yet far more brilliant minds than mine reason that very thing – you may be one of them. It is because human reason cannot explain God.

It is a Spiritual thing and whether you like it or not, you were created a Spiritual being. I hope this little lesson below, taken from a message by a great old Preacher, can shed better light on the subject:

creation of manThe atheist believes that nothing times nobody equals everything – that it all just happened. But the Bible says it is clearly seen. “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

What does that mean, “being understood by the things that are made”? Well, if you have things that are made, you must have a maker. If you have creation, you must have a creator. That’s the reason the Psalmist said, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork…” (Psalm 19:1-4).

What if I wore a watch that first started out as a bunch of parts in a box, and I told you that all I did was shake the parts around and it was formed? First, I put some random parts in a box. Then, I shook them around and the parts became a button.

Then, after a while I shook the box some more and the parts became a compass. And then after a few more shakes they became a watch. You would say I was lying. And yet, to think that creation just happened by blind chance, is just as plausible. The Bible says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1a).

Amen…

One last question, do you think you’re ready to meet your maker?

Lord Bless,
