Let’s lay another stone on the foundation of what we are creating here.

“I want to know what God looks like so I can look like God”

– ONE word best describes you? Life-shaping. Identity rooted in that ONE Word – what we do – where we work – mistakes we’ve made – trauma we’ve endured – successes we achieved and simply – who we perceive ourselves to be. Yet, we still struggle with – “Who am I?”

“I yam what I yam and that’s all what I yam,” Popeye the Sailor Man

But, because of God’s grace, that is what I am. And his grace that he gave me was not wasted. I worked harder than all the other apostles. (But I was not really the one working. It was God’s grace that was with me.) 1 Corinthians 15:10

Popeye relied own ability and spinach, We are: – Created to mirror the image of God. – Anything else is a counterfeit identity narrative. NEVER know fullness of JOY outside of God’s image. STOP rejecting who God said you are STOP allowing everything else define you.

Bible tells us:

1. Who God is

2. Who we are.

Any revelation outside of God is fake, self-created and Satan celebrated.

God says you are his Image Bearer.

What does God’s IMAGE mean in a real sense?

“God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:26-27

– Headship – Man is the God-ordained, gender assigned head of family.

But I want you to understand that the head of every man is the Messiah, and the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of the Messiah is God. 1 Corinthians 11:3 (Complete Jewish Bible)

How to Image God – Step by Step

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18

How to Change My Word / IMAGE?

Four P’s of Gaining God’s Image

1. Put on new self – repent and believe Jesus is Savior and Lord Colossians 3:10 – “and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.”

2. Pursue knowledge (revelation) of who God is – Bible James 1:5 –“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

3. Practice sanctification of His image through living righteousness and holiness Ephesians 4:24 – “and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

4. Possess the image of God through being conformed Romans 8:29 – “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”
