1 Corinthians 15New King James Version
The Risen Christ, Faith’s Reality
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by [a]Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have [b]fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
The Risen Christ, Our Hope
12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have [c]fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.
The Last Enemy Destroyed
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have [d]fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
Effects of Denying the Resurrection
29 Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 30 And why do we stand in [e]jeopardy every hour? 31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
A Glorious Body
35 But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” 36 Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 37 And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. 38 But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind [f]of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
40 There are also [g]celestial bodies and [h]terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the earth, made[i] of dust; the second Man is [j]the Lord from heaven. 48 As was the [k]man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we[l] shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
Our Final Victory
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [m]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O[n] Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

There is freedom waiting for you on the other side of tough times. I’m praying that you begin to identify the blessings in your life and focus on them until you breakthrough into a new, anointed light. Resurrection Order of Seasons Corinthians
Transcript
you know where I’m from is way way way
south Louisiana
and and it’s crazy like sugar cane is
King literally there’s hundreds and
hundreds and hundreds of Acres of sugar
cane Fields so when they’re harvesting
after they’ve after they’ve sowed and
then they’re ready to reap but before
they reap they burn the stalks
and and what it does is the burning it
burns off the leaves the organic
material the trash they call it and the
stalk which has the sucrose the sugar
that’s about water so it’s not
affected by the by the fire
so if I mean I grew up there so I saw it
every year
well when Lee and I were first dating
years ago
she drove from Dallas to my south
Louisiana Cajun Country home and it’s a
small two-lane Highway that goes about
miles when you go south of New
Orleans and for miles on a two-lane
road there is hundreds and hundreds and
hundreds of Acres of burning flaming
fire
it literally looks like the Highway to
Hell
why she married me I have no idea
but she did but you know what it made me
think about is we’re talking about
sowing and reaping and the Eternal
Harvest as we continue through books of
the Bible we’re still in First
Corinthians Room chapter . but we’re
going to talk about the process of
sowing and reaping and the Harvest of
Eternity
so even that that crazy burning off of
the leaves and the organic material
there’s a purpose for that there’s a
purpose for it and you know sometimes it
may seem like like things are getting
hotter than hell
but just like my bride to be at the time
had the had the protection of that
vehicle had the comfort of the air
condition you keep pressing through you
keep pressing through and your travels
are not in vain and neither is the life
we live and that’s what I want to assure
you today
the life of the one thing that I want
you to have and I always tell you guys
like God told us be different so we’re
not gonna like we’re gonna do a
three-point message you know there’s one
thing and I always pray I’m like holy
spirit what’s the one thing that if I
don’t share with my family today I just
feel like I’m gonna explode
and he says the life we are living is
not in vain
Christ sowed the seed of sacrifice so we
reap the Harvest of everlasting life
with him
it’s not just about showing up on Sunday
it’s not just about putting on Fresh
clothes it’s not just about checking off
a box and being nice to the person next
to you
what we’re doing is sowing seeds for the
for the Harvest of Eternal salvation for
reaping the resurrection and it’s in
that Eternal Harvest that I ask that we
stand as the body and we read the anchor
scripture it’s from First Corinthians
–
and this is the Amplified version
I know it’s super spiritual to go with
something overly Decepticon or King
James but I really want the body I want
us to understand what Paul is telling us
so together we’ll read however the
spiritual man the spiritual Immortal
Life is not first but the physical the
Mortal life then the spiritual the first
man Adam is from the earth Earthly made
of dust the second man Christ the lord
is from Heaven as is the Earthly man the
man of dust so also who are of Earth
and as is The Heavenly Man
so are those who are have of Heaven just
as we have borne the image of the
Earthly man of dust we will also bear
the image of the Heavenly the man of
Heaven
it’s a good word what’s a good word what
Paul’s doing is he’s putting the order
of harvest the putting the order of
sowing and reaping
and that’s what we want to talk about
today you know we’ve been going through
First Corinthians for the last weeks
we’re in chapter and Paul’s been
talking about order order ordered
personal order the way you live your
life corporate order the way we the way
we practice Worship in a body where when
they’re spiritual gifts and they’re
speaking in tongues and unless there’s
interpreter and and the prophetic and
Paul gives order now we’re moving into
the order of resurrection and there is
an order Seasons bring order so what is
what is the order of sowing and reaping
going to teach us that Paul’s sharing
well its Seasons our order
sowing seeds begin the season
if you’re ready for a fur blessing sow a
seed
dying of the seeds releases the season
decaying of the seeds defines the season
blooming of the seeds
fulfills the season and harvesting of
the seeds complete the season
so like we say the only thing that
really matters is what’s God got to say
about this
right it’s really all that matters so
First Corinthians we’re going to walk
through and we want to start where
Paul says but now Christ has risen from
the dead and has become the first fruits
of those who have fallen asleep for
Since By Man Came Death By Man capital M
also came the resurrection of the Dead
for as an atom all die even so in Christ
all shall be made alive but each one in
his own order Christ the first fruits
afterwards those who are Christ at his
coming
what are we talking about first fruits
Christ is the first fruit Christ is the
the Prototype he’s the template from him
all follow in that pattern
so where the Resurrection comes in is
Christ died he was resurrected he
ascended into heaven
so man being following in the prototype
in the template of Christ is that man
dies man will be resurrected and we will
Ascend into heaven we can’t supersede
what Jesus hasn’t already done we do
that in our life a lot of times
we run out Lee and I used to run out
full speed
everybody’s doing it
Jesus
he’s like um
y’all come back
so the order of sewing and reaping is
sowing a seed in the kingdom is the
current planting for a future promise
if you’re looking for breakthrough if
you’ve been in the struggle whether it’s
marital Financial spiritual emotional
relational social cultural if you’ve
been stuck
I want you to ask yourself have you
sowed a seed
have you sowed a seed because until that
seed is sowed nothing is going to be
produced in the future
it’s like a farmer stepping out on his
on his porch every day looking out over
the field
yeah
I almost said oh doggy remember that
Andy Griffin
and every day the farmer steps on the
porch and he’s like whoo
where’s the Harvest I’m waiting well did
you till the soil no did you plant a
seed supposed to
look all you’re gonna get is weeds and
dirt if you’re not willing to toil the
soil till the soil and plant a seed
Jesus’s death was a sowed seed for the
sin of the world his resurrection was
the reaping of salvation for our sins
there’s a process there’s an order you
know we talk about everyone has a
calling everyone has a calling
and God will anoint that calling and
that calling is activated by the glory
of the Lord
but until you have the character of God
all that stuff is wasted it’s like that
pizza we talked about a delicious hot
pepperoni pizza delivered over the hand
of a young kid is wasted put in the
structure and the safety of a cardboard
box character your calling and your
anointing has no limitation
so when we’re talking about Resurrection
we’re talking about one of the things is
a glorious body
says but someone will say how are
the dead raised up and with what body do
they come I mean like this is this is
the church in Corinth these are the
Corinthians asking these questions and
we can be Pious so we can be like those
silly Corinthians they’re so primitive
they didn’t even have tick tock like
what they know about Jesus
but you know what they had legitimate
questions in that we have today
like the Romans and the Greeks they they
felt that the body the physical
terrestrial body was a tomb for the soul
it wasn’t until you died that the soul
was released to manifest itself in glory
now when you’re talking about a warrior
culture and you’re trying to get these
brothers to raise up and fight you want
to glorify death if you give your
physical body in Warfare your soul is
released into Glory
so for the Greeks and the Roman the idea
of a dead body coming back to life was
disgusting it was disgusting you see
because they they emphasize the
spiritual over the physical
that’s why they got so hypothetical and
they weren’t worried about about doing
the acts working the gifts of the Spirit
In Love they’d rather just sit around
and pontificate in their parents
basement playing Xbox
you see the church in Corinth and
culture today has not really changed a
lot
but those are legitimate questions
because I’ll be honest
we used to ask them we hear them all the
time we’re talking about a glorious
resurrected body I mean seriously some
of the questions like am I stuck in this
body as it is
look if you’ve got rock and eight packs
of abs and you’re looking fantastic
you may want to keep that body going
into eternity but if you like the other
. of us
we could do better
we could do better
but even even for that small
infinitesimal percentage of the people
that were like I’m digging what I got
let me tell you as we’re gonna see it’s
a lowly lowly body compared to the glory
of Christ so some other questions about
resurrected bodies or what about The
Unborn what about the miscarried what
about the aborted like what’s their
resurrected State going to look like
like what if it was a young child that
passed away or or a hundred something
year old person that passed away like
like are they going to be are they going
to be stuck at that age what if you were
cremated like that’s a good question
like what if so-and-so was cremated
like I think like what if you got a
bashark
I mean like come on like my big
questions are like should I cancel my
gym membership
like I want to know what I’m looking
into the problem we have is that we have
a a is a physical Perfection it’s based
on a corrupted perception
we look at athletes and we look at movie
stars and we’re like oh that’s perfect
body right there oh man yeah like I say
down on the Bayou make sure yeah that’s
a good body right there yeah
that’s my land Yap that’s for free
that’s Cajun
but look we’re going to learn in just a
second that that what we hold up as the
ideal of this Earth
is corrupted
there’s no honor
let’s walk this out in Paul says
foolish one
what you sow is not made alive unless it
dies we cannot be resurrected into Glory
until our natural life ends
listen that goes the same thing right
now if you’re missing if you’re praying
if you’re waiting for a breakthrough
unless you’re willing to sow that seed
unless you’re willing to put to death
what that is that you’re holding in your
hand like a death grip if if your
finances and you’re struggling and
they’re just like a heart they’re
encased in a hard kernel shell and
you’re not willing to sow it into the
ground and let it die and let it decay
and let it unlock the DNA that God’s put
in there that it’s no longer U.S
currency that it becomes Kingdom Finance
unless you’re willing to sow that seed
it’s just gonna rot it’s just gonna rot
it’s like watermelon seeds spit on
cement nothing happens
tells us and what you sow you do not
sow that body that that shall be but
mere grain perhaps wheat or some of the
grain what you were understanding is is
this body this body is what we’re going
to sow this body is what we’re going to
plant we’re not going to bury it when
you bury things you lose things I buried
a bunch of Honey pennies as a kid in an
old coffee jar I don’t know where them
pennies are
you are going to be planted to sow your
seed
your current body is not the body that’s
going to raise up now this is not
licensed to just forget about your body
because this is still the Temple of the
Holy Spirit
we’ve got to be good stewards with our
physical body but don’t make any mistake
in thinking
you know when I resurrect them are going
to have luxurious hair like Scott almost
at years old I don’t know
I don’t know
but my prayers that you do
someone want to tell you is let’s think
about this the watermelon everybody
loves or should love watermelons and you
sit there in the summer and it’s
delicious and you’re spitting those
black seeds out like combined all of us
here together collectively over the
course of all our lives we probably
spent a couple million of those little
tiny black watermelon seeds
I’ve swallowed probably half of those
million but let me tell you so what
happens you spit that seed out and it
lands on some soft soil and it gets
planted and then it starts to get
watered and then it starts to grow a
Vine and then in the next season what do
you see you see a ripe melon
that seed doesn’t look anything like
that watermelon but you know what that
seeds got inside of it
it’s got the DNA it’s got the DNA you
see you know what you’ve got inside of
you
you got DNA you know whose DNA you got
you got DNA of the Creator or the father
so it’s not do you sow that seed until
you’re willing to put to death what you
hold so dear in life that in that death
and the decay can the DNA of the father
be released
that goes for our resurrected body it
goes for everything in your life it goes
for your marriage it goes for your
finances it goes for your spiritual walk
until you’re ready to put those things
to death to sow that seed and plant it
not bury it planted
you can’t release the DNA of God the
Father I want to share this example we
were talking about uh
about about the colonel and and you know
we look at this God’s DNA is encased in
a seed that would be your soul
and it’s kept righteousness kept
righteous by your spirit while you’re
terrestrial or your physical body decays
and we know this because first
Thessalonians tells us now may the
God of Peace make you holy in every way
and may your whole spirit and soul and
body be kept blameless until our Lord
Jesus Christ comes again
look we’re three parts we’re three parts
our spirit when you receive Jesus Christ
as your lord and savior you receive the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit you now
become Supernatural in who you are you
don’t have to get righteous you are
righteous by God’s righteousness you
cannot have the righteousness of
Holy Spirit living inside of you and not
be righteous in the Holy Spirit
the problem comes is our soul it’s our
emotions our feelings our past
experiences I’m gonna get so I’m gonna
go back to the bayous mesha I know I
know but I just can’t get over it
you choose not to get over it you see
because you’re leaning on your emotions
you’re leaning on your poor child baby
you’re not standing in power and
righteousness of the spirit of the Lord
and how do you how do you activate that
Spirit through the word of the Lord
you see the spirit which is truth which
is Jesus which is the word is not moved
by your poor babies and you’re all shall
be based you see your emotions don’t
drive the spirit let the spirit Drive
Who You Are by the word of the Lord
don’t be convicted by Tick Tock and
YouTube be convicted by the word of the
Lord and you will see drastic change in
your posture and your power
you know when you’re resurrected I don’t
care if you’ve Mr Olympia or you’re Miss
America or you’re whoever whoever like
the body we’re in right now ain’t
nothing
we’re gonna have a supernatural body
that’s Unlimited
that’s untethered to the Natural
terrestrial body that we’re in now
so we asked like so we’re talking about
like Christ is going to transform our
lowly bodies Philippians tells
us
so we’re talking about our identity it
says for our citizenship is in heaven
from which we will also eagerly wait for
a savior the Lord Jesus Christ who will
transform the body of our lowly
condition
our lowly conditioned
into Conformity with his glorious body
by the exertion of the power that he
even has subject all things that are
subject to him
even if you got the ape back even if
you’re still hanging on to the summer
bod
you want this lowly body
or do you want to sow that seed allow
yourself to die to yourself to receive
the Glorious body of Jesus Christ when I
think of the Glorious body of Jesus
Christ I think of the Transfiguration
like how amazing it must have been how
amazing it must have been and let me
assure you people like well we’re going
to know each other because like like
like should I go and apologize to some
people because if I see them up there
may shama be so haunted I’m gonna be so
embarrassed when I see him up there if I
did them wrong down here well let me
assure you you’re going to be
recognizable
you’re going to be recognizable how do
we know because tells us and as we
are born the image of the man of dust
Adam Adam was created in the image of
God Adam is our prototype we image to
Adam and shall also bear the image of
The Heavenly Man
are we going to know each other are we
going to be recognizable
yeah
so if you’re only in some money I
suggest you pay her today because she’s
going to come looking for you she gonna
be running around attorneys where’s our
chosen ticket money where’s our chosen
ticket money like listen get this sister
off my back and get your chosen tickets
I’m kiddingly I love you
now let’s get to the good stuff the
final victory
Victory says behold I tell you a
mystery we shall not all sleep but we
all shall be changed
in a moment in the twinkling of an eye
at the last trumpet for the trumpet will
sound and the dead shall be raised
incorruptable and we shall be changed
when Paul says well let me tell you a
mystery it’s mystery on in the Greek and
that means an Old Testament truth
revealed by Revelation and Paul what was
happening was the folks were like well
you know like my old Grandmama died
before Jesus came back like is she just
stuck in the grave you know and he’s
letting them know listen even those that
have passed on and those that are still
here when when the Rapture comes right
we should always be Rapture Ready we
should be ready to launch at any time at
any time
but if we pass before that time Paul
just wants you to be assured
that everybody’s going to change those
saints that have gone before those
saints that are walking and talking and
still trying to get their money for
their chosen tickets like like we all
gonna be changed
so if you’re like hmm hmm
really so you think I’m gonna have time
to get my my life right with God when
that’s happening well let me just run
this by you
to Blink
to Blink
it takes one tenth of a second
the twinkle of an eye
that’s when light travels into your eye
and it and it bounces back light travels
at a hundred and eighty six thousand
miles per second
the twinkling of an eye occurs in one
billionth of a second
if you think you can respond to anything
within the twinkling of an eye within
the one billionth of a second
you’re mistaken like why not get your
life ready settled right now
instead of walking around waiting
waiting waiting for that other shoe to
fall
how about you get Rapture Ready
you’re like any day anytime anywhere I’m
ready to rock and roll I’m ready to go
why not have that peace in life
you know when that trumpet sounds
so we understand the order
is the dead in Christ will rise first
their physical bodies
are going to rise first and and in that
Resurrection I just want to
um
to share a couple thoughts and this is
not this is not in the Bible it’s not
scriptural but the question back is well
what age am I going to be right I mean
if if I was you know if I was a child or
if I’m an older person or like where am
I going to fit in in this resurrection
and we go back to Jesus Jesus is the
Prototype Jesus is the first fruit Jesus
is the model the example
so if Jesus if Adam was the first Adam
and Jesus was the second Adam and Jesus
is the Prototype Jesus was about
years old when he was at his prime when
he began his ministry
so if we’re going to think we’re going
to work through that Adam when he was
created was that was created as an adult
right the first Adam he was he was
created as an adult how do we know that
because he was walking he went like a
little toddler by you he was walking he
was talking with God and he and he got
married I mean you don’t have to be an
adult I guess to get married but you
should be mature at least and and so you
know he got married and he named all the
animals he was doing big boy stuff he
was what we call today adulting
right when Adam the first Adam was
created he was created an adult
how old was he well the Bible didn’t say
but if we look at the model of the first
prototype which is Jesus who was when
he came to in his ministry I would say
it was probably about .
physiologically biologically you’re
you’re s to your early s they say
you’re at your Peak physical condition
now I know some older brothers in here
who would who would disagree with that
because we’re up plus and we’re still
rocking and rolling amen for that but if
you’re questioning back to those
questions about you know in the
resurrected State what is the perfect
resurrected state if a child was was of
miscarried or aborted or or died young
or someone super old what are we going
to look like
well I would just say if we’re looking
at the patterns of the seasons and we
look at the Prototype the Prototype
means the template who’s the Prototype
Jesus Jesus was an adult he was years
old at his prime when he began his
ministry
so the three things that Paul exhorts us
as he as he gives us closing therefore
my beloved Brethren be steadfast
immovable always abounding in the work
of the Lord knowing that your labor is
not in vain
and that brings us back to that one
thing the burden that I carry all week
as I’m praying about this message is
that the life we live is not living a
life in vain
Christ sowed the seed of sacrifice so we
can reap the Harvest of everlasting life
with him
that’s a good word that is a good word
from the Lord
so I want to go back to our assignment
that we had last week and
if if they itself Psalms and if it’s
on the board so what I ask are you
willing are you comfortable to receive
the promise of the word of the Lord
you know we get so wrapped up if
somebody says you’re amazing
if somebody says you’re dumb a week and
a half you’re walking around someone so
sound dumb someone’s outside what about
someone so that says you’re amazing oh I
forgot that let me tell you something
don’t worry about what people say
when I became a chief of police you know
what I was told don’t believe the
headlines
you know my first mistake I believe the
headlines
I learned real quick not to believe the
headlines but you know what this is not
this is not a temporary headline on a
secular newspaper this is the word of
the Lord so I asked you last week are
you willing and comfortable to receive
the good word of the Lord that he speaks
over your life and if you are I asked
you if you would read that either out
loud under your breath or in your mind
and put your name up there and be
confident and be bold in receiving the
promise of the word of the Lord as he
speaks over you we’re talking about
sowing and we’re talking about reaping
and we’re talking about Harvest and that
goes for Resurrection but it goes for
every element in your life
every element in your life you want your
finances to be blessed then then you’ve
got to sow a seed you’ve got to let go
of the Stranglehold that’s like I’m
gonna start giving when I get some money
that’s like when I said I’m gonna start
going to the gym when I get in shape
just stay home just stay home are you
really are you ready to receive the word
of the Lord what the Lord is saying to
you and I ask you if you would say that
and it’s I will say Scott will be like a
tree planted by streams of water which
heals its fruit and it sees it and its
Leaf does not wither and whatever Scott
does God prospers are you willing to
receive that blessing
because this is what God your creator
said about you this is what your creator
who imparted the DNA in your body and
he’s asking you that if you’re willing
to sow that seed of obedience
if you’re willing to sow that seed and
let it be planted and let it die to your
carnal ways that he this is what you’re
going to look like
your leaves are never going to wither
you’re always going to produce fruit
because you’re planted by the streams of
water not down by the bayous of
Lafourche Parish where I come from but
by the Living Water of the word of the
Lord plant Yourself by the word of the
Lord
that’s a good word I pray that you
receive that now your homework
assignment for this week this is going
to be hard
Leah’s like don’t be too hard on them
what I want I pray that you’ll do this
week
if you just take time and look at a tree
just look at a tree
I want you to really meditate and I want
you to think about the process
of what it takes an acorn into the
ground dies decays DNA released
an oak tree grows and it gets cliche
this gets cliche when we put it in the
world put it in the word
put it in the word so your assignment
this week is to Simply is to Simply look
at a tree take your time Brothers when
your wife’s like what are you doing
I’m doing my assignment I’m doing God’s
work
I’m just looking at a tree
meditate on the goodness of the harvest
season
I’m going to ask I want to pray and then
I’m asked our brother Corey Rudd to come
up and close us out with a good word
so Lord father we thank you thank you
for the house thank you for the family
thank you for the body thank you for the
order father lord of the of the sowing
and the reaping and the harvesting
father and everything from our
relationships to the resurrection Lord I
thank you Father God we love you we
praise you we pray a provision and a
protection over this house father Lord
we thank you in Jesus name amen
