Incredible night of worship at Gateway’s Men’s Summit 2018
Slow Your Roll
Visiting a church while out of town many years ago, I was told to “Slow your roll,” during worship. It seemed they didn’t “like” when people raised their hands in praise.
Only the Holy Spirit fled from that place quicker than I did.
I’m in 2 Samuel this week and was reminded of that event while studying the 6th chapter. It details the newly crowned king of Israel, David’s response to criticism of his “roll.”
David may not have been perfect, but his heart for God sure was. Don’t allow others to define your worship, or your relationship with God. He created us to know us in a very unique and special way.

“…So I danced Before God, and will dishonor myself even more than this, and will be low in my own eyes.”
