Looking For Loopholes In The Bible?

Looking for Loopholes

Just before his death in 1946, famous actor, comedian and alley cat, W. C. Fields was visited by a friend as he read the bible. Surprised to find Fields with a bible, he asked what he was doing. Fields replied, “Looking for loopholes.”

We don’t know if he accepted Christ before his death, but we do know he was a staunch atheist through his life. But in that quick conversation, he showed an acknowledgement of heaven and thus the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and a desire to be with them in heaven.

We don’t need a loophole to know Christ, or be assured of eternal life, and salvation in heaven with God. There is only one way, and it’s a free love offering.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

~ John 14:6

Let’s not waste our lives living in spite of Christ, or trying to disprove the indisputable. There will come a day of reckoning, and instead of skimming a book for alternative entry, why not be escorted to the Father by His Son, who loves us dearly.

Much Love/Respect,

Scott

  1. If there does happen to be a “day of reckoning” and souls/afterlives do happen to exist, then personally my happy ass will be quickly escorted to the hell, far away from an egotistical tyrant who created the hell in the first place to punish those who choose not to worship and glorify the creator. That is sick and unethical, and not a creator that I want anything to do with.

Hell, here I come! (Along with the rapidly growing Atheist/Agnostic population)
