Being aware of the seasons in our life are important. I especially become aware during the mountaintop moments. Not because they’re incredible and I’m on an emotional high. But, because I know what’s to come.
So many people want to wade into the muck and offer advice and opinions across the social streams. They become e-experts with safe responses and pre-calculated comments.
See, we’ve not progressed too far beyond that fateful day when mankind fell because of temptation. We’re disobedient and willful. Of course, God allows us free will so that we do have a choice. Otherwise, how could we actually show love if we didn’t have the choice to not show love?
This goes all the way back to the beginning – Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve lived in paradise, and that they were naked was of no shame. They had no secrets or need to put “product” on anything.

One of my most beloved pastors, Ronnie Melancon once explained why we get so exhausted after attending worship service. There’s a spiritual drop off after the mountain top experience. It’s not a bad thing he said, because we need the time to refresh.

And sometimes, if I’m lucky, I get to go a few hours without seeing the faces of the injured, the abused or the murdered. Though I don’t think I’d like them to completely go away as they remind me of why I’ve done what I’ve done on their behalf.

I never knew the depths of true brotherhood until connecting on a spiritual level that had nothing to do with your rank or how many arrests you made.
I think most men struggle with it because we are under the impression that forgiving someone lets them off the hook for what they did to hurt us. We amp up in the fantasy of getting even or an upper hand through revenge.
He showed me to pursue friendships instead of expecting them because of my position and what others I could do for me. I had been a consumer of relationships instead of a giver of my time and attention.
We’re basically free to do as we please no matter the hurt or harm to others. Why? because the gaggle of cohorts will also be good once you all agree to terms 1 or 2 of the definition.

It’s time to stand watch, and become aware of what the wicked one is doing to God’s people. Ideology is much harder to defend against than an enemy of flesh and bone.
Has sexual sin trapped you the darkness of pain, shame or regret? The light of Christ will set the captive free!!!
But, oh my soul, come the weekends, we transform into “Guardians of the Galaxy” protective about sharing time outside the circle of family.

It’s sort of a pain prison where the ones we refuse to forgive are our jailers.
God’s plan for sexual fulfillment works… God wants you to enjoy sex in marriage and to have that enjoyment for the rest of your married life.

Does it ignite an action, or calm an anxiety over an impending appointment? Maybe, and most probably, it’s just a habit or a method of marking our progress throughout a day.
Part of being a good team maker, is also knowing when to make your break from the team. We get comfortable, and the members grow complacent resting on your image, efforts and activity.

It’s easy and comfortable to stay self-contained with fellow believers, but that’s not what God called us to do. It’s also not my fight to engage this woman’s vile comments.
So if we walk among those who stir strife and darkness, how do you think that affects you? I believe in this:
“Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future.”
I spent the drive time listening to sermons and Christian music. Although my wife suspected it was a plot for ignoring her, I really needed the head time to refocus and recharge.
We cannot and will not ever be able to replace the role God intended to play. His LOVE is unending. His SECURITY is uncompromising. His SIGNIFICANCE is incomparable.
